What is Give Gleefully?
Give Gleefully, our 2012 LIVE UNITED video competition, lets you share your United Way story. Whether it's a photo slideshow about a United Way program or agency; a group showing off a talent while wearing LIVE UNTED t-shirts; or just yourself, your iPhone and your story about how United Way has a positive impact on your life or the community — these would all make great Give Gleefully submissions.
You can see what others have already posted at givegleefully.org and even vote on your favorites.
You don't have to be a video expert to participate. If you don't have a video camera, don't worry. Many phones and most digital still cameras will take video, too. Never edited a video? No problem. There are several free and easy software programs available. You can even submit a video that's one continuous shot — no editing required! For more ideas and resources, visit givegleefully.org.
Give Gleefully is a great way to tell a story, have fun and raise money for United Way. In addition to voting on their favorites, visitors to givegleefully.org will be able to donate on behalf of their favorite videos. Videos that receive the most votes and donations will win great prizes, courtesy of Glick Family Foundation.
